The quickest, easiest way to donate – African Girls Can accepts Venmo! @AfricanGirlsCan
If you have not donated to a charity on Venmo before, note that you do not click on Pay/Request when you open your app. Instead, go to Home in the lower left hand corner, begin typing African Girls Can in the search bar and the options for People. Businesses, or Charities will appear. We’re there!
African Girls Can is registered as a non-profit organization under IRS Code Section 501(c)(3). Your donation is tax deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law as of the date of your contribution.
Since we are all volunteers, you can be assured that your donation is going directly to fund school fees and supplies. There will be minor administrative costs such as wiring funds between banks and website hosting fees.
We will not share your information with anyone.
Give a gift that makes a difference! We are especially touched when a donation is made in honor of another. It is a gift twice over. Think about birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, Mother’s/Father’s Day, etc. or to honor your mentor or someone who made a difference in your life!
Just email us at hello@africangirlscan.org.
Does your company offer employee matching? African Girls Can is listed as an approved non-profit organization in the Benevity Causes Portal, which is used by many major corporations to promote charitable giving amongst their employees. The donation is easily made through payroll deduction and gets sent directly to the non-profit along with a match.
You can recommend a grant from Fidelity Charitable, the Dayton Foundation, or Johnson Investment Counsel Charitable Gift Fund. Contact another Donor-Advised Fund to set up our organization to receive contributions and we will provide the necessary documentation.
